About Innovative Engineering

We are a software consulting firm specializing in database applications. Most of our staff has worked on critical care teams. When you call technical support, you will be speaking with a computer expert who has also spent thousands of hours sitting in a comm center dispatching calls and/or been the medical crew on the aircraft. We've been there and we know what it's like! We have extensive understanding of the inner workings of Air Medical programs, which gives us the advantage when it comes to writing the software and helping you when it's crunch time. The AMS software has been in service since 1986, and has gained a wide reputation as being the finest program in the industry, with installations at over one hundred sites in several countries. Call our references! Innovative Engineering Staff Charles Freeman, MSEE, REMT-P, FP-C Robert Mullinax, REMT-P Robert has been with Innovative Engineering since 1992 and a user of AMS since 1987. He studied Computer Science and Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia, has a degree in Accounting, and has been in EMS as an EMT/Paramedic since 1986. Robert still works in the Air Medical industry as a parttime Communications Specialist for Pegasus Flight Operations at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Sam Thurmond, REMT-P Sam joined the Inovative Engineering Team in February of 1999. He is a Lieutenant/Paramedic for the Seminole County Florida, Department of Public Safety. He also works for the Orlando Regional Healthcare Air Care Team. He has been with Seminole County since 1984 and Air Care since 1985. Sam has been a paramedic since 1978 and his experience includes 2 years working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the Saudi Ministry of Health.
