This build does require you to run individual workstation updates. This workstation update will enable the WinAMS help functions by placing the help files on the local workstation.
Additionally, with this update, after editing items such as hospitals or staff, you may see a future date displayed in the "Last Edited:" box at the top of the window. This is due to a bug in Microsoft Windows and the way in which it decodes certain characters in a date string when that string has been compressed. It has no effect on the underlying data and the only place this date field is used is in the display at the top of the edit boxes. Visually it looks strange but be assured it has no effect on the data. We are working on changing the compression and display of this date.
- New Features! Landmarks and road intersections can now have an EMS Agency and a Landing Agency associated with them. Any time you use a landmark that has agencies associated with it, the following new features will be seen:
- If you create a new scene call, the Referring Agency info will be filled in with the EMS Agency info from the landmark.
- If you have a Landing Agency defined for a landmark, that agencie's info will be displayed if you print a flight plan or view the waypoint.
- To use this new feature you will need to do some editing.
- First, edit Manager->Ed Support->Counties and associate agencies with each county field .
- Next, edit the landmarks or road intersections for that county. Merel opening the landmark and saving it will copy the agencies from the county entry, or you can select new ones.
- Selecting a new referring or receiving agency will now re-fill the phone number and location of call fields with the new agency's information.
- The Swap feature has been improved to make sure you can't swap a request into oblivion.
- Cosmetic changes make some state-specific picklists more readable when editing support lists.
- Roads, Landmarks, Bases, and Macros can now be hidden just like the other lists.
- The HELP file (winams.chm) is now installed on the local hard drive. This will get around the problem created when a recent Microsoft security patch restricted access to help files located on remote drives.
- When printing anything, if you click the Print to File button you'll now get a standard Windows file dialog to choose where to put the resultant text file.

This build does not require you to run individual workstation updates.
- New Feature: Event Alarms! These are "alarm clocks" which are activated by events, then de-activated or reset by other events. When they are activated they start a "count-down" timer. When the timer reaches zero, a user defined message is displayed on all screens.
An example usage is an on-scene timer. You can set up an alarm to alert the communicator when an aircraft has been on scene for more than twenty minutes.
Alarms are user defined in a very similar manner to event pages. To edit an alarm template, go to Page->Edit Alarm Template. To edit or kill an alarm that is actively counting down go to Page->Edit Active Alarms.
- Startup connections: Periodically connections fail to be made to the Database Server. Previously you would get an error message and quit the application. Now the connection is retried five times before quitting.
- Multi-patient transports: Previous build was eating multi-patient transports in the startup sync check. Fixed.
- Using the Notification function to log a notification can now be used to trigger Alarm or Page events. In addition a new INCOMING event can be used to trigger pages when the vehicle departs the pickup location with a patient on board.
- Now works properly if request is scheduled for next month and you cancel it this month.
- Numeric fields now highlight when clicked into to show you will be erasing the current contents.
- Sometimes Hobbs elapsed time was not being calculated correctly. Fixed.
- PA State only: Command Facility field selects correctly from pick list.

- Startup synchronization check is now much smarter, and can silently fix most sync errors (although the previous build should have eliminated the cause of most sync errors anyway).
- The CDU (satellite message) service is now distributed amongst all workstations. For SkyConnect or Fleetilla messages, the last workstation to log an event on a request will be the one to get automatic messages about that request. If that station is turned off, doesn't respond, or it is an Outerlink message, the workstation marked as the default CDU server will get the message. If that station is turned off, other workstations will notice and offer to become the default CDU server. If no workstations are on, the message gets queued until Dispatch is started somewhere. The point is that everything possible is done to avoid missing messages.
- Transient Aircraft changes:
- The destination field is now 30 characters long.
- When you discontinue flight following, the location is backfilled with the Home Base (provided one has been entered for that aircraft). This will make the Nearest Aircraft button more accurate for transients.
- You won't get the "going too fast" message for transients.
- Cosmetic cleanup of the activity log page when included with Request Printout.
- Stats Summary Report: If you deselected Part I you got a blank page in the printout. Fixed.
- Activity Log on Status Screen should keep up to date.
- When logging an event or posrep if you moved the time prior to midnight the date didn't back up in the activity log entry. Fixed.
- Manual posreps: The Landmark field wasn't showing in the activity log. Fixed.
- If you aborted a request while enroute to get the patient, the default number of souls still increased by the number of patients. Fixed.
- Status Screen status labels on ground transports now match labels in request.
- Lifeline: Ground time labels and weather status labels changed
- StatWin now displays PRL requests. This is turned on or off in the StatWin setup screen.

- Tags: With some tag lists, when you de-selected already selected entries in the list, they would still show up in the result. Fixed.
- Editing hospitals: Hospital info is spread across three databases. If the primary record existed and either secondary one did not, you were treated to an error message. Now you aren't; it just makes a matching secondary record.
- Obscure Export Data bug where if there was an error during the export, the export was still created, but with undecoded data; fixed.
- Problems where dialogs failed to regain focus, for example the request dialog staying grayed out after printing a flight plan, have been fixed.
- Annoying cosmetic flashes when closing modal dialogs have been fixed.
- If you changed a column of a saved report from a month or quarter to a range of dates, the label on the printout wouldn't update. Fixed.
- Occasionally when you logged an event, the wrong aircraft entry would be updated. Fixed.
- You can now print out the contents of all of the staff, support, and some macro pick lists under the Manager menu.
- New PMHx screens with custom fields for perinatal history taking have been added to the medical chart.
- Lots of Teddy Bear Air specific changes and modifications

- New DUATS Weather feature: On every new flight request, an FAA standard weather brief is obtained from CSC DUAT and saved in the permanent flight record. This is done invisibly when the flight plan is completed. When the flight plan is printed, you can include either the entire standard brief, or an abbreviated brief which includes only the origin and destination METAR's and TAF's. Internet access is required for this to work. The DUAT feature may be disabled and configured in the AMSGLOBAL.INI file in the MDATA folder; details are found in the HELP file. These settings include the default altitude, route corridor width, winds corridor width, and the ability to include non-associated NOTAMs, tropical depression warnings, and ATC delays. The weather will be requested for the scheduled time, or current time plus five for emergent requests. And there is a new "View Wx" button in the Flight Planner which allows you to view the DUAT weather for a flight. On the View screen, there is now an Update Weather button which allows you to update to the current weather. This button is grayed out for completed requests so you don't accidentically update historical weather. In addition, a "Closest" button has been added which jumps to the closest departure and destination METAR and TAF data.
- Error log: is saved in the correct folder again.
- Saved Pages: No longer generates an error message, retrieves saved page correctly.
- Automatic Position Reports now retrieve heading and groundspeed, and update the ETE based on these data.
- Dialogs that sometimes wouldn't respond to the cancel button will now.
- The Pickup Location Longitude was being filled with the Latitude by default. Fixed.
- Hospital and EMS Agency address labels: Now have an entry field for an "Attention" line which will print on every label; leave blank if none.
- Address->Hospital | EMS Agency | Doctor -> Labels print routine:
- The Agency | Doctor selector has the following changes:
- It is a Windows Extended list control. This means to select multiple names in a block, click to highlight the first (or last) entry, move to the last (or first) entry, and shift-click to highlight the block of names.
- To highlight ALL the names, press . (These are standard Windows features.)
- You can now select to print to a Label printer (like a Dymo, CoStar, or Seiko); or print to 3 up x 10 or 3 up x 11 label sheets. If you select "Label" printer, be sure to select your label printer in the printer field, too.
- PostNet bar codes are now automatically calculated and printed for addresses with valid zipcodes.
- New Report: Reports -> Lists -> Disposition lists requests by selected dispositions.
- Follow up -> Personal Flight Log is much prettier, and can now be printed for multiple staff members if you have sufficient access rights.
- AAMS Report has been cleaned up cosmetically.
- The following fields have been increased to 30 characters in length: Requestor, referring unit (scene), units at scene, notification names, and other telephone numbers labels.
- ALNW only: AAOC field picklist fixed.
- Reports -> Custom -> User Audit -> Copy was overwriting the source of the copy. Fixed.
- Reports -> Custom -> User TD -> Save wasn't saving. Fixed.
- Reports -> Export -> Add New Report wasn't saving the list of fields to be exported. Fixed.
- Reports -> Export -> Add New Report wasn't adding the new report into the list of reports unless you restarted the application. Fixed.
- Reports -> Export was requiring an entry in the Custom Filter field. Fixed.
- Reports -> Summaries -> Stats Summary wasn't using the custom filter criteria properly. Fixed.
- PA Only: You can now edit the PA Hospital Code list used when entering hospitals.
